Description: Dill usually has one upright, hollow stem with waxy or powdery leaves divided into filaments. Umbels of small yellow flowers appear in summer, which are followed by flattish, oval seeds.  The leaves, seeds and oil are used for their medicinal and culinary value.
 
Culinary Use: Fresh dill pairs well with seafood, creamy sauces and vegetables such as beets, carrots, cucumbers, and potatoes. Flavors breads, preserves, cakes and pastries. The seeds are often used in soups, sauces and stews.
