Swiss Chard
Fennel: Sweet, with a mild licorice flavor. A very popular European vegetable, especially in Italy and France.
Swiss Chard: Bionda Di Lyon, is on of the two varieties that we will be growing this season. Excellent mild flavor with less fiber texture resulting in a very tender leaf.

Green Onions
Beets: Our first beets of the year, and they are tender and sweet. To fully appreciate the taste of beets they are best roasted.
Green Onions: This week's onions were sown last fall for spring harvest. Since they have not been cured, stored them in the refrigerator.

Cress
Lettuce Salad Mix
Mustard Green: Pizzo
Scallions
Pizzo: Serrated leaves with a mild mustard green. Enjoy it in your salad or braised it.
Persian Cress: One of the three varieties of cress we will be growing this season. Persian cress has strap leaves with small teeth around the edges. Mild with a peppery taste goes well as a salad mix or in a sandwiches.
Lettuce Salad Mix: During the season our members will be enjoying a variety of baby lettuces. This week the combination of our lettuce mix includes varieties of green oakleaf, green and red lollo, redleaf, red oakleaf and romaine.
